In the face of all this fun, we can’t forget the startling fact that women in the U.S. have a 1 in 8 chance of being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in their lifetimes.  Life is a party, and we don’t want it cut short!  So we’re taking this opportunity to introduce you to the experts and physicians at Advocate Condell Medical Center and allow you to tour their Women’s Center and Cancer Resource Center.  You’ll see the mammography suites, get your questions answered and learn about the preventative and diagnostic services along with treatments,  should you or a loved one need them.

Because October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are kicking it off in style and Advocate Health Care is leading the way.  For every tweet or photo tagged with #CheckYourGirls, Advocate will donate $1 to the American Cancer Society on top of funds raised during our “Support Your Girls” fundraiser and Moms Night Out.
