Mother’s Day Brunch {2017}

Mother’s Day is a day when moms are appreciated, praised, loved and adored. Hopefully your family plans to shower you with homemade cards, breakfast in bed, and maybe even some flowers. Feel free to play your “Get out of the Kitchen Free” card and treat your family and yourself to a relaxing brunch. And let someone else do the dishes! Here are some of our favorite places for Mother’s Day brunch.

This brunch features carving station, omelet station, eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles, bacon, potatoes, smoked salmon, pastries, and drinks are included.

Chicago Botanic Garden

Seatings at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 noon, and 1 p.m.
McGinley Pavilion
Adults: $59.95/$52.95,  Children (age 3-12 yrs): $27.95/$24.95, children age 2 and younger eat for free. Members pay the lower price listed.
Price includes parking, taxes, and gratuity.
Come for brunch and stay to explore the gardens. The all-you-can-eat buffet includes carving stations, made to order omelets and more! Tables of eight or fewer may share a table with another party.

Deer Path Inn

The intimate and elegant English Room will be offering a champagne brunch that includes 10 salads, a seafood buffet, breakfast offerings, and a carving station that includes a leg of lamb, ham, and more.

Grille No.43 will be offering their traditional holiday buffet with a leg of lamb, prime rib, and ham carving station, omelets made to order, eggs Benedict, and more.

The Grille on Laurel

In addition to the complimentary Mimosa Bar, The Grille will feature an omelette station, carving station (with turkey and beef tenderloin), and a dessert station with cupcakes and chocolate dipped strawberries. Also on the spread will be the traditional breakfast fare (including eggs Benedict), chicken marsala, vesuvio tilapia, pasta primavera and more!  

Jolane’s

At Jolane’s wood-decked, white-tablecloth space you can order off the menu this Mother’s Day. Some of their options include pancakes, beef tenderloin, paninis, salads, and platters to share such as fruit, shrimp, and lox.

Karma Restaurant

10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., adults $38, children $15, children under 5 free
Treat mom to a champagne brunch (all mothers receive a complimentary glass of champagne) featuring breakfast favorites as well as Chicken Breast with Mushroom Marsala sauce, and Roasted Salmon.  Chef stations include create-your-own omelette, carved turkey and ham and even a Bananas Foster action station.

It’s worth a trip to enjoy the award-winning, champagne brunch at Port Edward. Well known for their incredible seafood offerings (including snow crab legs, trout, salmon, clams casino, oysters, and shrimp), the buffet also includes a carving station, omelet station, extensive breakfast offerings, soups, salads, and desserts.

Brunch 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Dinner 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m., adults $65, children (age 7-12) $10, children under 6 eat for free.
Shaws Crab House will be providing a traditional brunch in the morning, including an omelet and waffle station, followed by dinner fare in the afternoon. Their hot and cold offerings will be set up in buffets throughout the restaurant and oyster bar. Their sweets table is something out of this world! Reservations are filling quickly!

This enormous buffet truly has something for everyone. From smoked trout, sockeye salmon, shrimp cocktail, and gourmet salads, to an omelet station, pasta station, carving station, and anything breakfast you can desire. AND they have a separate kids’ buffet boasting chicken tenders, mac n cheese, mini hot dogs and more!
