Math Counts

Math Counts introduces children to the wonderful world of math in a fun, informative way. Enjoy a special storytime before engaging in fun activities that deal with the basic building blocks of math: sets and patterns, counting, numerosity, geometry – even algebraic thinking! Programming takes place approximately every other Friday from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

January 4, January 18: Shape Painting
Create your own artwork using different shapes of ice. What shapes do you see in your painting?

February 1, February 15: Wheel Count
Explore how many different size wheels you can fit on our indoor road. Can you fit the most wheels on our road?

March 1, March 15, March 29: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish 
Explore the famous Dr. Seuss book by rolling some dice to help find how many fish go in the bowl.
