The City of Highland Park Police Department is hosting the City’s 2nd Annual National Night Out Celebration on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 6 PM – 8:30 PM on the front lawn of City Hall, 1707 St. Johns Avenue and the adjacent Hazel parking lot (corner of St. Johns and Hazel Avenue). All community members are invited to participate!
Save-a-Star will be collecting unused prescription drugs for safe disposal. There will also be a variety of kids activities including a petting zoo,touch-a-truck, face painting, adonut eating contest, DUI simulator, inflatables, a trackless train, dunk tank (dunk a cop and other City staff), live music by Going Rogue and a Bitter Jester Music Festival band, snacks, and more!
National Night Out is a nationwide event designed to heighten drug prevention and crime awareness, generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community relationships. Crime prevention and safety information tables and sponsors will be present.

6:45 PM – 7:15 PM K9 presentation
7:30 PM – 8:00 PM Donut Eating Contest (K-5, Middle School, High School, Adult)
