83rd Annual Lake Villa Days

The Lake Villa Firefighters Association is sponsoring their 83 rd Annual Lake Villa Days featuring food, carnival, games and water fights on Sunday.

Northbrook Days

23rd Annual Duck Race and Pool Party
August 13, 4:00 p.m. Aqualusion Pool, Barrington

Fred Fest
August 20, 1:00 p.m. Fox River Forest Preserve, Barrington
Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for kids (free for ages 5 and under). Family Pass is $25.
Fred Fest is an all-day music festival featuring local bands and activities for the whole family. The event features a diverse lineup of local bands, food and drinks for purchase, and family-friendly activities. Fred Fest benefits the Preservation Foundation of the Lake County Forest Preserves.

4th Annual Color Aloft Balloon Festival

Passport to the World Festival

Final Beach Bash

Lincolnshire Arts & Eats
August 13-14, Village Green
Lincolnshire Arts & Eats celebrates its 19th year with artistic fun. Managed by Amdur Productions, the festival hosts 100 juried artists from around the country in the Village Green of Lincolnshire and offers extraordinary examples of fine art and fine craft in a variety of mediums and price points.

August 20,  5:00 p.m. Waukegan Arts District
A monthly celebration of arts in the Arts & Entertainment District in Waukegan. Each month this event showcases different art and artists at over 20 venues, offering free access to each site and a chance to meet the artists.
