Weekend Festivals in Lake County {July 24-26}

festivals in lake countyFestivals and concerts, the sounds of summer! We’ve rounded up the Lake County Festivals and concerts happening this weekend:

Friday July 24

  • 11:00 a.m. Out to Lunch, Cook Park, Libertyville
    Enjoy live bands and chose a delicious lunch from among 9 food vendors in Cook Park.
  • 12:00 p.m. Courtyard Concert, Waukegan Public Library. Listeners can bring their own lunch or purchase lunch available for sale onsite from Green Town Tavern. Drinks and baked goods are also available for purchase by the Friends of the Waukegan Public Library
  • 1:00 p.m. Hawaiian Dancers, Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center
    Barefoot Hawaiian Dancers- Thrilling show featuring fire and dance from the Hawaiian Islands. Events are approximately one hour in length
  • 4:00 p.m. Lakefest, Veteran’s Memorial Park, Island Lake
    Fun for the Whole Family! Games, food, petting zoo, classic car show, music, touch-a-tuck, helicopter landing, bounce house, fireworks and more!
  • 4:00 p.m. Taste of Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire Village Green
    The Taste of Lincolnshire is a premier community event in the area. The Taste will feature many local restaurants, businesses, live entertainment and attractions.
  • 6:30 p.m. Concerts in the Park, Community Park, Hawthorn Woods
    Enjoy a sweet summer night with good friends and great music. Food vendors are on-site for every concert.

Saturday July 25

  • 11:00 a.m. Jammin’ at Jens Jensen Park, Jens Jensen Park, Highland Park. The public is invited to enjoy free live music this summer at the inaugural season o f Jammin’ in Jens Jensen Park. These historic grounds are the perfect setting for families to come enjoy time together in the great outdoors.
  • 11:30 a.m. Taste of Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire Village Green
    The Taste of Lincolnshire is a premier community event in the area. The Taste will feature many local restaurants, businesses, live entertainment and attractions.
  • 4:00 p.m. Lakefest, Veteran’s Memorial Park, Island Lake
    Fun for the Whole Family! Games, food, petting zoo, classic car show, music, touch-a-tuck, helicopter landing, bounce house, fireworks and more!

Sunday July 26

  • 10:00 a.m. International Bog Day, Volo Bog State Natural Area
    International Bog Day is the 4th Sunday of July. Established in Scotland in 1991, it is celebrated throughout northern Europe, Canada & USA. Volo Bog State Natural Area in IL was first to celebrate in the United States (in 2008).  Join us for live music, nature readings, Bog Dog Hike, picnic and more!
  • 4:00 p.m. Taste of Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire Village Green
    The Taste of Lincolnshire is a premier community event in the area. The Taste will feature many local restaurants, businesses, live entertainment and attractions.
  • 3:00 p.m. Family Golf Days, Renwood Golf Course, Round Lake Beach
    Just us for some family fun! Your $5 admission includes range balls, 3-holes of golf (walking), a non-alcoholic beverage, and a 15-minute group golf lesson starting at 3:00 pm with PGA Professional, Brad Rouse.
  • 4:00 p.m. Lakefest, Veteran’s Memorial Park, Island Lake
    Fun for the Whole Family! Games, food, petting zoo, classic car show, music, touch-a-tuck, helicopter landing, bounce house, fireworks and more!
  • 5:00 p.m. Family Golf Day, Sunset Valley Golf Course, Highland Park
    Spend a beautiful summer evening golfing with the family at Sunset Valley Golf Course…for FREE! Four Sunday evenings during the summer are reserved for Family Golf. The first tee will close to other golfers at 5pm. Reserve your spot early by calling 847-432-7140.
  • 5:00 p.m. Summer Concert Series, Kracklauer Park, Mundelein. Come and enjoy family-friendly concerts held Sundays throughout the summer, courtesy of Mundelein Park District, the Mundelein Community Days Commission and the Village of Mundelein. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.
  • 5:00 p.m. Summer Sampler, Mitchell Park, Deerfield. Summer Samplers take place each Sunday night during the summer at Mitchell Park from 5 – 6:30 pm. Free to attend!
  • 6:00 p.m. Bluffina Summer Concert Series, Lake Bluff Village Green. Summer Concert Series at village Green in Downtown Lake Bluff.
