Located in the heart of Lake Forest, newly renovated West Park is the perfect place for your kids to play the day away. While taking a trip to Lake Forest Library on a weekend, we stumbled upon West Park and noticed how many families were out and enjoying this new playground.
At first sight, we found our favorite park amenity, a zipline! As expected, this zipline kept my boys busy for at least twenty minutes and is clearly the highlight of this park and nearly every park that is lucky enough to have one. Of course, this was also the busiest area because who doesn’t love a good zipline?
We find that the best parks have swings and West Park has it’s fair share for kids of all ages. With five regular swings and two for smaller children, your whole family can enjoy this playground staple.
