Visiting the local farmers market is favorite activity for my family. Aside from all the fresh produce most markets (like Grayslake) have activities for children and music. It’s a great way to get out and get to know your community! There is still plenty of time to reap the bounty of the harvest, so find your local market and enjoy!

Enjoy music, children’s entertainment, and food from local restaurants. Plus, the Gurnee Police Department will offer free child safety seat inspections at each event.
