Halloween Candy Buyback 2016 Presented By Northwestern Medicine

Our 2016 Halloween Candy Buyback Guide is presented by Northwestern Medicine. Northwestern Medicine family medicine physicians care for entire families and patients of all ages. They are conveniently located in the community you call home.

It’s amazing how quickly the Halloween candy “disappears” in my house, despite being stowed away in the pantry out of reach from the little people who worked so hard for it. No, it’s not because the kids are sneaking it. It’s because Mom and Dad go through and pull out the good stuff for ourselves!  At ages five and seven, I think my kids won’t fall for it this year.

Instead of our usual candy ruse, we will participate in a candy buyback. Have you heard of these? If you bring your candy to one of these local businesses or dental offices, some will GIVE YOU MONEY and donate your candy to be sent to active duty soldiers or other good causes.  We all know families can do without the excess sugar, so once your children have had the fun of trick-or-treating consider passing the candy on.

Check our list for a location near you, including the details to send your candy to soldiers yourself.
