Parents, grandparents, nannies and other adults with young children, Deerfield Park District invites you to come by Jewett Park Community Center on Thursday mornings, anytime between 9:15 and 11:15 a.m.,  for “Parent & Tot Drop-In.” The facility, equipment and activities are suited for children 1-3.5 years of age, however,
parents and childcare providers may bring other age children along. Parent/childcare provider must be present with child(ren). Come once-in-a-while as convenient or come every Thursday in fall  The cost is just $3 per child per day.

Take a break from your regular morning routine. Deerfield Park District Early Childhood Supervisor Ginny Wiemerslage says, “Children enjoy our awesome classroom which is equipped with a play kitchen, climbing toys, puzzles and games. Simple craft items will be available for you to enjoy with your child. Adults can interact with other parents and childcare providers, while your child(ren) plays with other children. This activity offers a great way to form lasting friendships. Participants may come and go during the 2-hour session!”

“Parent & Tot Drop-In” has our own Early Childhood staff present for overall coordination of the class, which runs in the Pine A room, downstairs in Jewett Park Community Center, 836 Jewett Park Drive, in Deerfield.
