Christmas Tree Farms {2017}

It’s time to get into the holiday spirit! So pile your kids into the family station wagon, sing Deck the Halls at the top of your lungs, and head into the country to cut down a mighty spruce or pine. Just don’t forget the saw!*

If the adventure of cutting down your own family Christmas tree Clark W. Griswold-style appeals to you, there are plenty of farms in Lake County and the surrounding area where you can cut your own. There are also farms where they cut them for you. Usually you can find a farm that offers both — but to be safe, make sure you call ahead before you go.

* most places below have saws and rope; call ahead to confirm
