6:00 p.m. Music at the Park, Washington Park
{Waukegan} Bring lawn chairs and enjoy live music in the park.

6:30 p.m. Bilingual Nature Hike & Camp Fire, Ryerson Conservation Area
{Riverwoods} Enjoy bilingual nature hikes and campfires in local natural areas.

6:30 p.m. Concerts in the Park, Community Park
{Hawthorn Woods} Pack a picnic and a blanket for a free concert in the park.

6:30 p.m. Sleepy Storytime with Matthew Cordell, The Book Stall
{Winnetka} Wear your PJ’s, curl up with a fave stuffed animal, and listen to tales that will send you to the land of Nod.

7:00 p.m. Community Campfire Friday Nights, Greenbelt Cultural Center
{North Chicago} Gather with friends and family roasting marshmallows over the fire, stroll peacefully on a nature walk, share a story or bring an instrument to play. Nature activities vary monthly.

8:00 p.m. Summer Strolls, Rosewod Beach
{Highland Park} Enjoy a summer evening walk on the beach or through the ravine with a naturalist

8:30 p.m. Astronomy Nights, Volo Bog
{Ingelside}After the public astronomy program, there will be a public star party in the parking lot starting at 9:30 p.m. (weather permitting).

8:30 p.m. Movies in the Park, Community Park
{Hawthorn Woods} Enjoy a free movie in the park.

9:00 a.m. 31st Annual Nostalgia Days Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show
{Zion} Join BGV Mortorsports, the City of Zion and the Lakeshore Chamber for a free Car, Truck & Motorcycle show on Sheridan Road.

10:00 a.m. Libertyville Days Parade, MainStreet Libertyville
{Libertyville} Parade starts at the Libertyville Metra Station and heads South on Milwaukee.

10:00 a.m. Luau On the Lake, Willow Point Park
{Gages Lake} Bring your grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts out to Willow Point Park for fun games including a limbo competition, inflatables, dancing, and a free raffle. When

10:00 a.m. MPRD Community Picnic, Diamond Lake Beach
{Mundelein} Picnic. Spend time with neighbors and friends on the expansive sandy beach at scenic Diamond Lake. Go for a swim, take a spin on a paddle boat, build a sand castle, navigate the floating SportsPark, try you luck at games, and top it off with an evening of water thrills from the Wonder Lake Water Ski Show Team!

11:00 p.m. Father’s Day Storytime, Barnes & Noble
{Deerfield, Deer Park, Hawthorn} This playful book follows four father-child pairs as they spend happy, silly times together, popping bubble wrap, watching cartoons and taking part in shopping cart races. These dads may look like grown-ups on the outside, but underneath they’re kids just like you! Activities to follow.

11:00 a.m. Kids Entertainment, Heritage Park Performance Pavilion
{Wheeling} Family fun featuring Miss Jamie from the Farm.

11:00 a.m. Rockin’ Wild with David Landau, Lake Bluff Library
{Lake Bluff} Bring the family for this upbeat musical program that involves children as active participants. The kids will sing some, move some, act some, dance some, shout just a little bit, and laugh a bunch!

11:30 a.m. Meet & Greet with Spider-Man & Iron Man, Hawthorn Mall
{Vernon Hills} Head to GAP Court for pictures with Spider-Man and Iron Man.

12:00 p.m. Family Fishing Day, McHenry Dam
{McHenry} We have everything you need – just bring your friends & family and join our Friends along the Fox River for a relaxing afternoon of river exploration.

7:00 p.m. Concert by the Lake, Lakefront Park
{Fox Lake} Musical venue under the stars! Food & beer tent. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by and adult.

All Day Father’s Day at the Beach, Beach Park
{Wauconda} Celebrate Fathers Day at the beach and receive free ice cream.

All Day Father’s Day Special, Aquatic Center
{Round Lake} Dads will receive free admission with a paid admission. Come see who will make the biggest splash at the father’s diving board and participate in swim contests for prizes.

1:00 p.m. Who’s Your Daddy, Crabtree Nature Center
{Barrington} The roles that fathers play in the animal kingdom vary greatly from species to species. An informative inside program will be followed by a short hike to look for “dads at work.”

5:00 p.m. Concert Sundays, Heritage Park Performance Pavilion
{Wheeling} This week’s concert features libido Funk Circus.

5:00 p.m. Summer Concert Series, Kracklauer Park
{Mundelein} Invite your friends and neighbors to the concert, bring some snacks and drinks and have an enjoyable evening in the park.
