Saturday January 2

9:00 a.m. Home Depot Kids Workshop, Home Depot
{Your Local Store} FREE hands-on workshops; designed for children ages 5 – 12.

10:00 a.m. Family Play and Learn Center, Aspen Drive Library
{Vernon Hills} The Family Play and Learn Center features a rotating selection of engaging toys, activities and games for children of all ages, with a special focus on developing early literacy skills.

10:00 a.m. Family Time, Deerfield Public Library
{Deerfield} Come to the Youth Program Room for a drop-in storytime the whole family will enjoy!

11:00 a.m. Lady Pancake and Sir French Toast Storytime, Barnes & Noble
{Deer Park} Enjoy the funniest food fight story ever! Lady Pancake and Sir French Toast have a beautiful friendship – until they discover that there’s only one drop of maple syrup left.

11:00 a.m. Saturday Storytime with Carol, Ela Area Public Library
{Lake Zurich} Enjoy stories, songs & crafts with Carol every Saturday morning. For all ages with an adult.

1:30 p.m. Story/Craft Time, Highwood Public Library
{Highwood} Story and Craft.

2:00 p.m. Polar Party, Glencoe Public Library
{Glencoe} Celebrate winter by becoming a penguin or polar bear, decorating magical winter cookies, and warming up with winter crafts!

3:00 p.m. What’s on the Menu, River Trail Nature Center
{Northbrook}  Join us at feeding time to learn about our display animals and their unique habits.

 

Sunday January 3

10:00 a.m. Stay and Play at the J, Bernard Weinger JCC
{Northbrook} Drop-in playtime for children, infant  to 36 months, with a caregiver. Have fun with your little one and connect with other families when you Stay & Play at the J!

3:00 p.m. What’s on the Menu, River Trail Nature Center
